Inspired by the Atlanta music scene, KO got his start after he purchased DJ software from the local computer store and began making his own mix tapes. Soon after, he bought his first set of turntables and began live DJ’ing at various events.

One of DJ KO’s greatest influences, and Atlanta underground DJ’ing staple, DJ Jelly, became his mentor. DJ Jelly opened many doors for KO, including introductions to some of the industry’s top executives, artists and producers, which lead to many opportunities in the Atlanta music scene.

In addition to remixing, producing and DJ’ing, DJ KO also writes original music and is currently co-writing with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters, including multi- hit writer, Craig Wiseman.
